Celebrating AAPI Month

It’s Asian American Pacific Islanders Month and we at the museum, are celebrating in a unique way.

May 13, 2023 – Noon to 3 pm
Stun Device Give Away

As hate crimes and attacks continue to rise, we at the museum, are giving away 1,000 free finger stun devices to the adult community. These are safe, non-lethal forms of self-protection. This is not violence vs. violence, this is having an alternative that may save your life. The event begins at noon, first-come, first-served. A mandatory short class will be ongoing during the event and everyone has to take it in order to learn how to use the device. Famed hosts Jay Menez and Michelle Manu will be heading up the event for the Museum. Eric the Trainer started this event last year and I think it’s important we continue it in his memory.
