DENNIS ICHIKAWA DAY at the Museum
Let’s all gather together to celebrate the life of martial arts icon Sensei Dennis Ichikawa. This is a great event to say “thank you” for those who made an impact on our lives. Dress is casual. Ceremony starts at 4 pm so come early.

ROBERT TEMPLE DAY at the Museum
The Museum recognizes the accomplishments of this amazing martial arts icon and one of the greatest fighters you will ever meet. A Member of the BKF, let’s all gather to pay tribute to this amazing artist. Dress is casual and starts at 4 pm.

FUMIO DEMURA EXHIBIT
Martial arts icon and Museum Hall of Famer Fumio Demura will be having a special weekend exhibit at the Museum. For two days, fans will enjoy his many artifacts from the past, his old uniforms, the drum from the Japanese Deer Park and more.

DOUG WONG presents KUNG FU HISTORY PHOTO EXHIBIT / LECTURE
Museum Hall of Famer Doug Wong is considered as the greatest historian of Kung Fu in America. He was there when it all began and he has a ton of wonderful pictures from the earliest days of Kung Fu from the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s. Join us for this FREE EVENT and photo exhibit and a discussion about Kung Fu by both Doug Wong, Jerry Lem and others.

This is going to be a huge event. First, we will be unveiling several new items at the Museum. Plus, we will be having the release of the Museum’s newest book, Volume 2 of the Hall of Fame. All those available on the cover, plus inside the book will be here for a huge book signing. Meet Buck Sam Kong, Cecil Peoples, Carrie Ogawa-Wong, Wen Mei Yu, Leo Fong, Art Camacho, Fariborz Azhakh, Eric Lee, Benny Urquidez and many more. We will have Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 book on sale and the martial arts icons here to sign them and to sell their products as well. Think of a mini-Dragonfest with the big stars and icons close up.

Yes, we've moved to a larger location and put it all in one day. Enjoy the coolest martial arts convention on the West Coast. A very professional expo, enjoy meeting martial arts celebrities, martial arts authors, meet the producers of the latest films coming out, buy some cool products. PLUS, enjoy stage performances of Japanese Taiko, Asian musical performers, martial arts demos and meet the casts of many of the new movies. PLUS, we are making this our “reunion” year as we are asking for the cast of Best of the Best, the Karate Kid, X-Treme Fighter, Kung Pow Movie, Big Trouble in Little China to take part in this event.
