Michael Matsuda - Keanu Reeves - Tiger Chan - martial arts museum
Michael Matusda, Keanu Reeves and Tiger Chan at the Museum event

Greetings friends,
This year we are starting off with a bang!!! Last week, we hosted 266 people at the museum for a special Benny Urquidez Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Present were Keanu Reeves, Marisa Tomei, Danny Trejo, Duff McKagan, Tiger Chan and so many more. The museum event even appeared on ET television show. It was a spectacular event and I hope great things come from it.

LARGE TV FUNDRAISER
Next month, we will be hosting a special event, the screening of ALIENS with the cast here at the museum. Our big screen is 80”. When we installed it, it was the biggest screen. Now, 100” are common and it would be nice to replace our smaller screen with a larger one before the 40th Anniversary of ALIENS is shown. Please help us raise $1,600 for the television.

GIO PEREZ MOVIE SCREENING
In the forgotten corners of the San Fernando Valley, a man with nothing left clings to the last traces of his humanity. The streets have reduced life to instinct and endurance—until he witnesses a terrified kid being pushed and hunted by a gang. In that moment, he’s forced to choose: disappear like he always has, or step into the violence and face the demons he’s spent years trying to bury.

In “Just Let the Kid Go,” that choice lights a fuse. Its consequences spill into “The Firepit,” where survival demands preparation, not hesitation. With the gang closing in, trust is fragile, and the drifter must sharpen skills long left dormant if he hopes to keep them both alive.
