UPCOMING EVENTS AT THE MARTIAL ARTS HISTORY MUSEUM
Yes, we always have a ton of great stuff for you to enjoy. So, let's pack it out as we reveal our newet events and updates for the museum.

August 26, 2017, 2 pm to 6 pm, FREE
MUSEUM GARAGE SALE
If you had a booth at Dragonfest and you have a lot of pictures, items, cups, mugs etc. left over and you want to sell them for a cheap price, then bring them to the Museum’s first ever “Garage Sale.” From magazines to t-shirts to nick nacks and more. There is no fee to the vendor but we ask the you make a small donation to the museum. The event will be open FREE to the public from 2 pm to 6 pm. If you have something to sell, let us know before you bring it in. email info@mamuseum.com.

VOLUNTEER THANK YOU
Sponsored by Karen and Michael Matsuda, we are hosting our annual Dragonfest Volunteer thank you dinner to those designated individuals who were kind enough to give of their time and effort without pay to help us at Dragonfest. We contact you each individually as to the designation.

THE KARATE KID SCREENING at UME Credit Union

Sept. 23, 2017, 5 pm
ART CAMACHO CELEBRITY ROAST in CHINATOWN, LOS ANGELES
Join us as Eric Lee “King of Kata” hosts a special evening to roast one of our own, filmmaker Art Camacho. This is not a museum event, however, a portion of the proceeds will be going to the Museum (so that’s why we are mentioning it). One of the MC’s for the evening is Museum President Michael Matsuda. Sept. 30, 2017, 4 pm to 6 pm, Cost: $10
VINCE CECERE DAY at the Museum
He’s the star of the new show “Call Vinny,” an instructor in close quarter combat, Japanese jujitsu instructing U.S. military, special forces, U.S. federal agencies and law enforcement. He’s a television personality, an actor with over 30 credits to his name, a weight lifter and public speaker, let’s all join together to celebrate Vince Cecere.

 

October 7, 2017, 4 pm to 6 pm, Cost: $10
DAVE JOHNSON DAY at the Museum
He is a martial artists extraordinaire, he served as the Chairman of the Crime Prevention Committee for the city of Madera, he was named “Role Model of the Year” by Inside Taekwondo Magazine appearing on the cover of the January 1996 issue. He’s a 2013 inductee in the Martial Arts History Museum’s Hall of Fame AND, he will match whatever funds we raise that day at the Museum. So, let’s bring in 20,000 people shall we?
