Museum Events for May

The Martial Arts History Museum is not only a fun place to visit for the whole family, it is a place in which we host a number of great events that keep everyone coming back. This month’s events are as follows












May 18, 2014
THE RETURN OF “DRAGONFEST”

1 PM to 7 PM
Cost: $25

The greatest martial arts convention on the West Coast has returned. Now under the umbrella of the Martial Arts History Museum, everyone will enjoy the great times we had many years ago. Meet celebrities, martial arts icons, pioneers, champions and more. The theme for Dragonfest will follow the Museum:

  • History: Meet our pioneers, icons including Benny Urquidez, Doug Wong, etc.
  •  Media: Meet martial art celebrities including Cynthia Rothrock, James Hong, etc.
  •  Art: Meet our artists including Ed Parker Jr., Paul Wee, etc.
  •  Tradition: Meet our new authors including Donnie Williams, Carl Totton, etc.
  •  Film: Meet our Special Effects giants including Koji Ohmura, Hiroshi Kategiri, etc.

Vendors include: Valley Martial Arts Supply, Kil Kombat, Lua weapons, Filipino swords, martial arts canes, Jeromy Lu’s Hyperactive Monkey, Traditionz, Master’s Hall of Fame, book publishers, Halas Jewelry, Mel’s Props, 2K Kustoms, the Strategy Game and many more.

This event is a fundraiser for the Museum and 100 percent of all the funds received go directly to benefit the Museum. Get your tickets at: www.MuseumDragonfest.com

DRAGONS MARTIAL ARTS VISIT THE MUSEUM

Last month we were honored to have the whole school from Frank Marquez Knights. This month Shervin Ilberg’s Dragons Martial Arts will be paying us a visit. This is a fun time for all the kids to enjoy.
