MUSEUM EVENTS FOR MAY, 2016
As we prepare for our really biggest fundraiser of the year, DRAGONFEST, we have some wonderful events that we know you will enjoy.

May 7
Saturday, 12 noon to 6 pm
PROFESSIONAL PHOTO SHOOT at the MUSEUM
Former cover photographer for Black Belt magazine, Mario Prado, is giving of his time to host a variety of photo shoots at the Museum. We've set up a temporary studio complete with backdrop, lighting, etc. so that Mario can shoot you professionally. Update your headshot, shoot a full body shot, get your kids kicking in their uniforms, etc. This time, Nick Palma, the actual Ninja Turtle will be there as well for a short time getting his photos shot of the Turtle. Cost is only $50 for 25 minutes of shooting. We give you the CD when it's done. No appointment needed, just come in.

Saturday, 2 pm (special time)
CYNTHIA ROTHROCK DAY at the MUSEUM
She’s the “Queen of the Martial Arts,” she’s without a doubt, the greatest forms and weapons grand champion in history. She has graced countless covers, she’s known across the globe, she’s the coolest cat you will ever meet, she’s CYNTHIA ROTHROCK! What a wonderful person, what a talented artist, you must pack this place out as we honor the “master of disaster, the queen of sting, the ultimate of ultimates,” Cynthia Rothrock!!! Cost is only $10.

JULY 9
Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm
IT'S DRAGONFEST!!!!!!!!
The “coolest” and biggest martial arts event on the West Coast, it’s “DRAGONFEST.” Yes, its our biggest gathering of martial arts icons, pioneers, celebrities, movie stars in the world. Set in 4 sections: Celebrities, Artists, Icons & Products/Weapons. Moved to a larger location in Van Nuys plus stage events including Taiko Drums, The Shaolin Monks performances, music and more. This is the Museum’s biggest FUNDRAISER and even if you have been here before, come back just to support the Museum. Meet the Kobra Kai gang, Danny Trejo, Steve Oedekerk and more.
