MUSEUM EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2015
The museum has a lot of fun events coming this September and October. Please support the museum by making it a point to join us in one of our events. You can hook up with old friends, meet some new ssones and support the museum.

 

September 20, 2015 – 4 pm, SUNDAY

MAURICE ELMALEM DAY at the Museum
Join us as we celebrate the life and accomplishments of a noted martial arts icon, a philanthropist, a former top tournament competitor and an eight-time Guinness Book of World Record holder, Maurice Elmalem. THIS IS A FREE EVENT. Your fee has been paid for by Maurice Elmalem. Dress is casual.
 

October 3, 2015 – 4 pm, Saturday

RIGAN MACHADO DAY at the Museum
Join us as we celebrate the life of one of the greatest figures in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu history; Rigan Machado. An 8th degree in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he earned his rank under Carlos Gracie Jr. He is one of five brothers of the Machado family and began training with his cousins, the Gracie Family. Cost is $10. Dress is casual.

 

October 10, 2015 – 6 pm, Saturday

MUSEUM UNVEILING PARTY & Debut of Eric Lee's Film
Join us as we have a fun party to unveil some of our new items at the Museum. Paul Wee and Bill Webber prepare to unveil our new Animatronic Creation, the installation of the Flying Guillotine, the addition of our new Photo Opp Wall and a few more items you will enjoy. PLUS, we will have a special showing of ERIC LEE’S new historical BIOGRAPHY FILM. There will be tons of fun, a little food, all sponsored by the amazing Eric Lee. This is an OPEN HOUSE FREE event.

 

October 17, 2015 – 4 pm, Saturday

JOHN KRENG DAY at the Museum
Please take the time to join us as we celebrate the life of one of the most celebrated authors, choreographer, and producer in the business, John Kreng. Fresh from the scuess of Battle B-Body, John will enjoy some his peers and students at this great event. Cost is only $10 and dress in casual.

 

October 24, 2015 – 4 pm, Saturday

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER, DAVID HALL
LECTURE ON SAMURAI: David Hall is one of the most respected authors in the industry. Author of various books including the 684 page Encyclopedia of Japanese Martial Arts, a Phd., professor and ordained Buddhist Priest, Hall of provide a wonderful seminar on Japanese Samurai, history and martial arts. This will be an exciting event to have such an accomplished author known world-wide. A demonstration will be included. Cost is only $10.

SCHOOL VISITS:
Sign up your school today to visit the Museum. It's an hour-tour and fun for all the kids. They will learn about history and enjoy the wonderfully designed facility. Plus, they will have fun with a cool scavenger hunt. We book up fast so give us a call. Tours can be any day of the week.

 

DONATIONS:
It's getting close to the end of the year and donating to the Museum is a great way to save on taxes. You will be paying taxes, why not have some of that go to the Museum. We are a fully registered Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization.
