Museum Events for September 2015

MUSEUM EVENTS
The Martial Arts History Museum is very excited about our new series of PSA's and commercials to bring awareness to the Museum. Already aired on KABC Channel 7 is our promotional commercial and it has been working. Starting Aug. 31, our new 30 second spot will be featured until the end of December on the Nickelodeon Channel. The first series of commercials includes pioneer Fumio Demura (Karate Kid), Americas Abesamis (iCarly), Henry T. Yamada (Pirates of the Caribbean), William Chris Ford (Karate Kid), Michelle Manu, Chad Eagan, Chinzo Machida and Kai Moriya.

This is a private party arranged by the executive producers of the Martial Arts Kid movie. This will be for those who are attending the screening at the AMC Theater in Burbank. Food, fun and you get to enjoy the Museum.

MAURICE ELMALEM DAY at the Museum
Join us as we celebrate the life and accomplishments of the editor of Budo International Magazine, a eight-time Guiness Book of World Record Holder and one of the most notable breaking demonstraters in history, Maurice ElmaleM. THIS IS A FREE EVENT PAID FOR BY MAURICE ELMALEM. Dress is casual.

RIGAN MACHADO DAY at the Museum
Join us as we celebrate the life of one of the greatest figures in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu history; Rigan Machado. An 8th degree in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he earned his rank under Carlos Gracie Jr. He is one of five brothers of the Machado family and began training with his cousins, the Gracie Family. Cost is $10. Dress is casual. Seating will be limited so come early.

MUSEUM UNVEILING PARTY
Join us as we have a fun party to unveil some of our new items at the Museum. Paul Wee and Bill Webber prepare to unveil our new Animatronic Creation, the installation of the Flying Guillotine, the addition of our new Photo Opp Wall and a few more items you will enjoy. PLUS, we will have a special showing of ERIC LEE'S new historical BIOGRAPHY FILM. There will be tons of fun, tons of food, all sponsored by the amazing Eric Lee. This is an OPEN HOUSE event.

JOHN KRENG DAY at the Museum
Please take the time to join us as we celebrate the life of one of the most celebrated authors, choreographer, and producer in the business, John Kreng. Fresh from the scuess of Battle B-Body, John will enjoy some his peers and students at this great event. Cost is only $10 and dress in casual.

Oct. 24, 2015 – TIME TO BE DETERMINED
SATURDAY – FREE EVENT

LECTURE ON SAMURAI
David Hall is one of the most respected authors in the industry. Author of various books including the 684 page Encyclopedia of Japanese Martial Arts, a Phd., professor and ordained Buddhist Priest, Hall of provide a wonderful seminar on Japanese Samurai, history and martial arts. This will be an exceiting event to have such an accomplished author known world-wide. Time and cost to be determined.
