Burbank, CA – On this holy week of the celebration, the Martial Arts History Museum will be hosting a special art exhibit entitled “The Jesus Art Show Experience.” Showcasing the work of artist Sonia Woodfield Brunotto, the collection will be unveiled at the museum on March 30 and March 31 at 6 pm to 9 pm and will be open free to the public.
The Jesus Experience is a collection of inspired paintings, drawings, scripture, writings and music about Jesus, the Christ. It is a collection 11 years in the making and will be on public display for the very first time.
“These powerful images accompanied by inspired writings will reveal the heart of Christ and His love for all mankind,” notes artist Brunotto.
Brunotto is an artist, Costume Designer, writer and Evangelist whose passion is spreading the message of the Gospel. Though she has been creating art her entire life it wasn't until she gave her life to Christ 17 years ago that she began to create solely biblical art. It was at the point that her style of drawing changed drastically as she began to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Her husband Paul Allan Brunotto is also a writer and Evangelist who has written over 200 songs and poems, some of which will be included in this exhibit. Sonia and Paul have been married for 10 years and live in Los Angeles, California.
Special guest speakers for the event include martial arts superstar and actress Cynthia Rothrock and actors Gary Clemmons and Jason Clemmons from FX Baskets. The show is sponsored by ATtheWELL International Ministries by Senior Pastor Ric Perez.
“We are always thrilled to have these photo and art exhibits at the museum. The martial arts is made up of culture, music, history and art, so it fits in nicely. Having someone in the martial arts field use the museum to display their work is just wonderful. As an artist myself, we are always glad to give back to the community by supporting local artists,” says museum president Michael Matsuda.
The Jesus Experience is an exhibit for people of all ages, both believers and non-believers like. All are welcome to this event. Light food and music will be provided. The Jesus Experience has a crowd-funding campaign: https://www.gofundme.com/the-jesus-experience
