JAMES LEW DAY “STUNTFIGHTING” Q&A SEMINAR
Emmy-Award winner James Lew will be hosting a special seminar for the museum. From 3 pm to 4pm, James will host a “Stuntfighting Question and Answer” Session discussing the stuntfighting field, how to get involved, what it takes, etc.

From his flowing long hair to his daily-polished emmy, he’s the man’s man and one of the greatest kung fu champions in the world. It’s a later start, 5 pm so don’t be late.

GRACIELA CASILLAS DAY at the Museum
Join us as we celebrate and honor the life of the pioneer of female kickboxing, Graciela Casillas. First kickboxing champ and boxing champ, a student of Dan Inosantos, a legend, a Museum Hall of Famer who has graced the covers of numerous magazines. She will also be debutted her new book “The Lion Within” at the event. So get the very first copies of the book right off the press, this is her first book.

BOOK SIGNING at the Museum
The Museum is proud to host a book talk and signing of a new publication by Jay (Janet) O’Shea on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 6 pm at the Museum. Here new book, “Risk, Failure, Play: What Dance Reveals about Martial Arts Training” will be discussed including a martial arts demonstration as part of the reception. The event is FREE to the public to enjoy. There will be food drink and more.

HOLIDAY IN THE PARK
The museum will close early as we set up on Magnolia Blvd. Yes, it’s “Holiday in the Park” as the museum has a booth with a bunch of fun give-aways for the kids and all to enjoy. The Museum will close early as we set up a nice tent (donated by Randy Helsly) as visitors can spin the wheel and win a prize. We need volunteers so please come out to help.

MARK STEWART DAY at the Museum
Please join us as we honor on of the early practitioners of Bruce Lee’s concept, Jeet Kune Do. Mark Stewart is a very highly recognized leader in the JKD community and he was able to bring back Jeet Kune Do to Los Angeles Chinatown, where Bruce Lee taught. Let us celebrate his life and career and the contributions he continues to make in the world.
