Museum Events for May/June
We are excited about the number of events coming up this year. Not all of them have been solidified, so please check our events page from time to time.

SCREENING OF “THE PERFECT WARRIOR”
Enjoy the screening of a brand new action film directed by Alex Chandler. The film stars Angela Morgan, Joe Chin and Elmor C Garlitos. Plot: Long ago deep in the Orange Sea, a tribe of warriors called the Totome fought to keep peace in the lands. Every 100 years the top warriors compete to take over as the new leader, or Abeoji. Sai and Katana are two warriors selected to compete. But when they make it to the final round, their hidden relationship is discovered. Their punishment and final challenge to become the leader is to fight each other in a Si Dou- A sword fight to the death.

CELEBRATE AAPI HERITAGE MONTH AT THE MUSEUM
To celebrate Asian American Heritage Month, we are providing FREE ENTRANCE on Sunday, May 19 so that the public and enjoy the museum for one day and explore Asian art, history and culture as it connects with the martial arts.

FEATURING DISNEY ANIMATOR WILLIE ITO
He’s know throughout the world for his amazing work as a famous Disney artists. From “Lady and the Tramp” to the invention of “Hong Kong Phooey.” Willie Ito talks about his life as an artist, the time he struggled in the Internment camp and how he overcame and became an iconic figure in the animation world.

DOK SAUVAGE SCREENING
Produced by Adam James, this will be the newest release of the Dok Sauvage series. Meet the actors, there will be a Q&A, autograph signing and more.

THE 18TH ANNUAL DRAGONFEST EXPO
It’s the greatest martial arts expo ever!! The biggest lineup of martial arts stars, celebrities, icons, champions, leaders and personalities in the world.
